How does ConvOps connect to my AWS account?
You create a read-only IAM role in your AWS account and paste the ARN into ConvOps. No root credentials, no long-lived access keys. The whole setup takes under 10 minutes.
Does ConvOps need to be in my AWS VPC?
No. ConvOps is fully SaaS. It accesses CloudWatch and CloudTrail via the AWS API using your IAM role — no agents, no VPC peering.
What if the same alarm fires multiple times?
Each firing is a separate diagnosis. If the root cause changes (e.g., first a spike, then a cascading failure), each diagnosis reflects the current state.
Can ConvOps automatically fix the issue?
Only if you opt in. By default, ConvOps sends a diagnosis and waits for your reply. Auto-remediation (restart ECS task, scale out, rollback deploy) can be enabled per alarm type.
